Very cool unit from PSL! This is the Breaker unit which is essentially 2 scanners built into 1 unit. The light source is 2 X 120 volt, 250 Watt ENH lamps mounted back to back in the center of the unit. The light projects from the bulbs then through a focusing convex lens then through a 12 position gobo / dichoric color wheel assembly. Finally the light hits the scanning mirror on each end of the unit. The unit is triggered from an onboard microphone which makes the mirrors scan left and right. It also triggers the gobo / dichoric wheel to rotate (If selected). On the rear of the unit there is a sensitivity adjustment knob and selector switch. The selector switch has 3 positions. 1 is used to select a gobo, 2 is to keep selected gobo in position and 3 is for the gobo to change when the mirrors scan. The effect is 2 large beams that pan left and right that react to the beat of the music. All motors are super high quality Micro Motors. Great fixture made in Italy.
