Clay Paky Astroraggi Twin Unit

Classic unit from Clay Paky!  This is the Astroraggi Twin unit.  Similar to the other astroraggi units with a bunch of lenses but this one does not have the long extruded tubes.  Much shorter tubes to hold the glass lenses.  The other astroraggi units have a spinning half circle with holes in it for random shooting beams of light.  This one is a bit different.  This unit spins the bulbs inside a round platter.  The produced effect is 1 or 2 thin beams of light shooting from each lens and rotating.  1 or 2 beams is created by turning on 1 or 2 of the lamps in the unit.  Lamps are the standard 24 volt, 150 watt FCS that is found in the Astrodisco units.  They are wired on different circuits so you can turn each one on individually or both at the same time.  The fixture has a total of 4 circuits for operation.  1 for each bulb, 1 for the rotation motor and 1 for the cooling fan.  The unit had an option for a color wheel that could be purchased separately.  It would sit above the lamps and snaps in 4 designated holes 90 degrees from each other.  If anyone has one of these color wheel please contact us.  Awesome unit made it Italy!

Coemar Versatile

Great unit from Coemar! This is the Versatile unit which is basically the second generation Spartan.  Fixture features a 120 volt, 800 watt Roundlux lamp mounted in the rear.  The light projects out of 7 convex lenses on the front of the fixture making very cool 'Tunnels' of light.  Each lens has its own gel holder so changing the color of each beam is very easy.  The units are constructed out of aluminum so the unit acts like a giant heat sink so no fans needed for operation.  Unit made in Italy.

SummaStar Laser System

Great classic laser system from Summa Technologies.  This is the SummaStar system that features a standard 4.95 watt Helium Neon red laser mounted horizontally in the chassis.  The beam shoots from the tube and hits a set of scanning galvos.  This is what makes the cool shapes and designs of the laser.  There is a blocking module that sits in front of the laser tube.  This is used for a blackout of the beam.  Since it is a gas laser tube this makes it so you don't have to constantly ignite the tube reducing the life of it.  The effects are controlled from the effects generator unit.  This brings up a ton of cool programs for the laser system.  There is also a separate power unit that has a key switch and blackout control button.  This system was available in 3 different versions.  version 1 was just the power unit and laser head where the unit would just run a sequence of pre-programmed sequences.  The second version was laser power unit, head and effects generator (This version) which allowed much more control of the beam.  The third version was the power unit and a PC based computer controller.  We are currently in the process of changing out the old gas laser and putting in a much brighter blue diode laser.  Will be awesome once completed.  Great system made here in the US.
