Clay Paky Gemini Oscillating Version

Great unit from Clay Paky!  This light uses a 75 watt, 12 volt EYC MR16 bulb that rotates to produce a cool looking rotating beam of light. The unit has 3 parts.  The top part is where the transformer is housed and the long tube (bottom part) is where the bulb, rotation motor and optical lens is housed. In addition there is a top oscillating motor that moves the entire fixture back and forth for an additional effect.  Unit has 3 circuits. 1 for the lamp, 1 for the oscillator motor and 1 for the rotation motor. This unit is great for long throw applications because of the concentrated beam. Unit made in Italy.

Clay Paky Astrodisco 3

The original classic disco unit from Clay Paky!  Probably the unit that really made the vintage disco light scene!  With all of the classic units out there this one was actually pretty hard to find.  I have a coupe of Astrodisco 2 units (2 motors) but getting this one was a challenge.  This unit was pulled from an old club located in Milwaukee, WI named Amens.  It has been sitting for a while but I finally got some time to overhaul the unit. 

The Astrodisco 3 unit features 3 separate motors that move a central saucer in a tumbling and spinning motion.  There is a base motor for rotation, a side motor for tumbling and a motor on the saucer for spinning.  Motors are super high quality Crouzet from France.  All are on separate circuits (4 total) for better control.  Lamp is a central 24 volt, 150 watt FCS capsule halogen.  Great unit made in Italy!

Clay Paky Gemini Color Changer Version

Great unit from Clay Paky!  This light uses a 75 watt, 12 volt EYC MR16 bulb that rotates to produce a cool looking rotating beam of light. The unit has 3 parts.  The top part is where the transformer is housed and the long tube (bottom part) is where the bulb, rotation motor and optical lens is housed. In addition there is a side attachment for the color wheel adaptor.  The color wheel rotates at 1 RPM from a super high quality Crouzet motor.  Unit has 3 circuits. 1 for the lamp, 1 for the color wheel and 1 for the rotation motor. This unit is great for long throw applications because of the concentrated beam. Unit made in Italy.
