Obvious f/x (Meteor) Pirata

Another great unit from Obvious f/x!  This is the Pirata unit which features a single 120 volt, 250 watt ENH lamp located in a housing with fan cooling.  The light projects from the bulb then through a convex lens for focusing.  From the lens onto a sound active rotating dichoric prism.  The prism has mirrored pieces behind it creating crisscrossing beams of multi-colored beams projection out of the unit.  Great unit made in the US!  

Show Pro (NESS) Diva

Another great one from Show Pro (NESS)! This is the Diva unit.  Very similar to a Martin Magic Moon or AMDJ Hypermoon.  This unit when originally produced was available in 2 versions - 36 volt, 400 watt EVD (Which this unit is) or 575 watt discharge lamp.  The unit has a sound active circuit located on the underside of the unit which triggers the rotating dichoric prism on the front and the rotating mirrored dish. A sensitivity knob on the rear adjusts haw the unit reacts to the music in the room.  There are 2 caps on the rear that show where the remote controlled shutter unit would have been connected if this unit had the discharge lamp option. Unit is pretty heavy due to the large transformer and heavy gauge steel construction.  Great unit made in the US!    

American DJ Pulsator

Very Rare unit from American DJ.  This is the Pulsator unit.  The unit features a 12 volt, 100 watt EFP - MR 16 lamp located in the center.  The light emitted from the lamp goes through a pin block, through a convex lend then onto a rotating dichoric rotating prism.  The prism has a few mirrors located in a 180 degree arc so the output is always being inverted for a more dramatic effect.  The reason for the pin block is with the lamps focal length it focuses only the center 'Spot' beam making a concentrated beam of light similar to a spot.  The fixture has a sound active circuit located on a small PCB just under the rotating dichro prism for sound to light operation.  Great classic made in????
