Satel Pogi 32 Waltzer Unit

Absolutely huge effect unit from Satel!  This is the Pogi 32 effect unit.  The unit features 32 - 6 volt, 30 watt 4515 lamps mounted on a huge round platter.  There are 3 rings of lamps.  An inner 8 lamps - center 8 lamps and 16 outer lamps.  The outer and inner rings are wired together (24 lamps total) and the central ring is wired separately.  This allows for different effects to be produced.  The central ring of lamps are all mounted on super high quality Crouzet oscillating motors which produces a very cool scanning effect.  The entire unit is mounted on a central 'Gyrating' assembly powered by a super high quality Crouzet gear head motor.  The unit does not spin but rather it gyrates in a circular motion.  The lamp circuits are all 48 volts and powered from a very large external transformer.  Currently the unit is missing the large external power supply for the lamps, a couple of lamp holders and some of the lamp retainers.  If anyone has parts for this unit please contact me.  Super unique unit made in Spain!

     

Satel Go 2.12

Another classic waltzer style unit from Satel! This is the Go 2.12 unit that features 12 X 6 volt, 30 watt par 36 GE 4515 lamps on the perimeter of the large saucer with an additional 2 X 12 volt, 100 watt par 56 GE 4545 lamps mounted in the middle. The spinning motion of the unit is from a 40 RPM Crouzet gearhead motor and the swaying motion is from a Crouzet 2 RPM gearhead motor. The unit creates a flying saucer style unit that gyrates side to side. Each motor and the lamp circuit can be controlled independently from each other. The unit used a very large 24 volt external transformer for the lamp circuit. The lamps are wired as 4 X 6 volt lamps in 3 groups and the 2 X 12 volt lamps combined in series / parallel 24 volt load. This is an earlier version as it does not include the neon lamp indicators for faulty lamps.  This also has the unique adjustable Chrome bulb cups with black holders. Very unique fixture made in Spain!

 

Satel Go 20

Awesome unit from Satel!  This is the Go 20 'Waltzer' effect unit.  The unit uses 20 - 6 volt, 30 watt 4515 sealed beam lamps all connected in series.  A great feature is neon fault indicators for each lamp.  This will alert you to which bulb is out.  The fixture rotates with a 40 RPM Crouzet base motor and a 8 RPM Crouzet swivel motor.  The effect is a gyrating cluster of lamps twirling in the air.  There were a few versions of this from Satel.  These was a Go 24 (just like this unit but 4 additional lamps), Go 12.2 with 12 lamps on the outside and 2 large par 56 bulbs in the center, Pogi 32 (Which has 32 lamps total with 8 oscillators) and the massive Go 40 (Platillo). Separate circuits for each motor and lamps.  Safety chain attached to the platter from the underside. Unit has a removable mounting tray for easy installation. Made in Spain.
