Interesting light from Elation. This is a EL-1605 Gobo-Squeeze unit. Unit uses a 24 volt, 250 watt ELC bulb that shoots through a gobo wheel. The gobo wheel rotates to the next position about every 8 - 10 seconds. The light then goes through a stationary convex lens then through an adjustable focus lens. The light is then emitted onto a rubber dish that rotates as well as expands and contracts. On the rubber dish there are a bunch of small dichoric mirrors that reflect the light and produce the output. The rubber dish reacts to the music via an internal microphone making the beams dance to the beat of sounds. The rubber dish was repaired as you can see the silicone where the dichoric mirrors ad to be re-attached. Unit made in Taiwan.
