Martin Robozap 250

This is a Martin RoboZap 250. Many lights have been copied from this design. Unit has 2 - 250 watt, 120 volt ENH lamps on both sides of the unit. Lights shine through a dichoric wheel then a lens onto a mirrored drum. The mirror drum is mounted off center so the mirror spin left to right as well as up and down. Unit can be operated by itself via the internal microphone, linked to other units via a 3 pin XLR cable (for synchronized movements), Martin controllers such as the 2501 or DMX 512 if used with the optional Martin Interface. I have 2 of these units. 1 has a single power cord and 1 has 2 separate power cords (1 for the lamps / fans & 1 for the movements). I guess there was 2 versions of this unit. Unit has 5 motors; 1 stepping motor for the mirror drum, 2 stepping motors for the dichoric lenses and 2 for the fans. Light made in Denmark.
