Meteor Magnum

Very unique unit from Meteor!  This is the Magnum 3 unit that features 3 - 40 volt, 150 watt FVN lamps mounted on a central rotating shaft.  In front of each bulb is a piece of dichoric glass making the beams of light colored.  The colors in the unit are magenta, green and blue The rotating shaft is connected to a sound active motor that it triggered from an on board PCB and can also be triggered from an external audio source from the 1/4" connector located on the rear of the unit.  The output is 6 very large beams of multicolored light projecting from the 3 large lenses on the front of the unit. Unit is fan cooled and made in the US.

Sapro SR-12

Another great one from Sapro!  This is the SR-12 unit also known as the half mine unit.  The SR in the model number identifies that it is a single rotation unit.  The fixture features a central 24 volt, 250 watt EVC lamp that produces a ton of light (and heat).  The lamp and half dome (with 12 lenses) rotate at 10 RPM from a high quality Crouzet gear head motor.  There were also larger units such as the SR-24 and DR-24 units as well.  Great classic made in France.

Clay Paky Astroraggi Halogen Version

One of the original and classic effects found in many clubs. This effect was copied by many, but this is the original. This is a Clay Paky Astroraggi. Clay Paky made a few different versions of this unit such as the dual, discharge and power. This unit is the classic halogen unit that uses a 24 volt, 150 watt halogen FCS bulb as the light source. How the unit works is there is a rotating dome over the lamp that rotates at a high speed. The dome has a bunch of holes cut into it causing the light output only to emit through a minimal amount of the 103 lenses mounted on the dome of the unit.  The effect is flashing bright beams of light coming out of random lenses on the unit. Unit has 2 separate circuits. 1 for the lamp and 1 for the rotation motor. Unit made in Italy.

This unit was in very bad condition when arrived but we did a total overhaul on it.  New lamp, lamp holder, transformer, paint & cleaning (Still needs a bit more) and all new wiring.  Happy with the outcome!
