American DJ Funnel Unit

Another classic unit from American DJ. The is the Funnel unit. There was also a later model named the Funnel II that was an updated version of this unit. The unit features a sound active rotating ring of mirrors making a tunnel of light that spins. There is also a constant rotating color wheel on the front of the unit making an additional color changing effect. The light source is a common 12 volt, 100 watt FCS halogen lamp. Unit is fan cooled and features 3 motors. 1 for rotating the mirror dish, 1 for the color wheel and 1 for the cooling fan. Unit made in Taiwan.

Pulsar 1 - 10 Way Matrix / Zoner Controller

Another classic controller from Pulsar! This is the 10 way matrix chaser / zoner which is used with the 10 way chaser in order to create the Starburst and Starspin effects (Or combinations of both) similar to the ones LiteLab and METEOR produced from this era of time.  There is a auto speed knob for 2 different parameters of switching between effects.  There are 4 LED's for indication of the output status.  Connection is inside the unit with direct wiring terminals inside the unit.  The unit can run with the Pulsar 10 way Chaser unit, Zero 3000, Zero 4000 or can be interfaced with any other manufacturers   Unit output to make a matrix display.  This unit is the key to making the awesome lighting displays!  Unit made in England and is circa 1980!

Pulsar 10 Way Chaser

Classic controller from Pulsar.  This is the 10 way chaser which features the obvious 10 channels of chasing with 8 different patterns programmed into the unit.  There is a speed selection switch and knob for 2 different parameters of intensity.  The unit also features forward and reverse chasing with the ability to stop (Pause) anywhere in the chase pattern.  There are 10 LED's for indication of the output status.  There is also a master dim labeled as shimmer dim (basically a fade).  Connection is on the rear of the unit with direct wiring terminals.  The unit can run by itself with common 10 circuit light strips, other lighting circuits or add the 10 way Matrix controller for awesome starburst, starspin and other cool effects similar to the ones LiteLab created with the 8000 and 1000 series controllers/chasers/zoner packs.  Unit made in England and is circa 1980!

Rotolite D 2900 Variable Speed Mirror Ball Rotator

A vintage piece!  This is a Rotolite D 2900 variable speed rotator.  It is used mostly for mirror balls and other non-powered objects to be rotated.  I am planning on using this for the "Atomic" or "Dradle" mirrored units.  The rotator has a standard 12 volt DC motor that responds from a 0 - 10 volt DC signal from the controller.  Unit made in the US.

Odyssey Flashbang Unit (Modified)

Interesting unit from Odyssey. This is the Flashbang unit which I have modified. When I received this unit it had a couple of issues. The main PCB had a couple of bad capacitors and cracks. Also it was missing one of the strobe tubes along with the special plug that holds the strobe tube in the socket. Since this unit has not been made in several years and parts are no longer available I modified it to work as 2 moving spot beams instead of a dual strobe unit. I removed the original circuitry and adapted the existing wiring for halogen lamps instead of the xenon strobe tubes. I chose 12 volt, 100 watt FCR lamps for the light source so I added a standard 12 volt power supply. I also wired in 2 new lamp sockets where the strobes used to be located. The output is 2 white beams that tumble and spin very fast. I also added a separate 12 volt power supply for the rotation motor so it can be controlled independently from the lamps. Unit made in China.
