Programmi Sistemi Luce (PSL) Magic Star Unit

Very cool unit from Programmi Sistemi Luce (PSL).  This is the Magic star unit this is very similar to the larger PSL Talisman unit but much smaller and less power.  The unit uses a 24 volt, 150 watt FCS bulb that sits at the front of the unit.  The light reflects off of a rotating colored cross piece that is connected directly to the motor and also has a free spinning additional cross piece mounted behind it.  The main cross rotates to the beat of the music from the onboard circuitry and the other one rotates freely making a very cool effect.  Unit is fan cooled and built like a tank!  Unit made in Italy.  

Programmi Sistemi Luce (PSL) Bubble Machine

Great compact unit from Programmi Sistemi Luce (PSL).  This is the Bubble Machine unit.  I honestly did not even know they made this unit as I never saw it is a catalogue.  I was fortunate to find this from a distributer that had it sitting on a shelf getting dusty.  Very simple unit that consists of a high velocity fan and a 15 RPM motor which has plastic bubble making pieces on it that dip into bubble solution and then when in front of the fan blows out tons of bubbles.  Simple on / off operation via the power plug.  Unit made in Italy.  

f.a.l. Galactica HMI 575 Centerpiece

Awesome unit from f.a.l.!  This is the Galactica giant centerpiece unit.  The unit features 16 separate arms each containing a scan mirror that moves in and creating 16 separate beams that make a expending / contracting effect.  The unit also contains a large internal dichoric color wheel (carousel) that adds more effect to the units performance.  The light source is a central double ended 100 volt, 575 watt HMI discharge lamp producing awesome color temperature (8000K) and tons of power.  Unit is fan cooled and control is either 0 - 10 volt analogue or sound to light trigger via an on board microphone on the unit.  This unit is very large and bulky due to the physical size and high power ballasts in the chassis.  Fixture made in Italy.  

Programmi Sistemi Luce (PSL) Gobodance Effect Unit

Part of the great Advancer Series of units from Programmi Sistemi Luce (PSL)!  This is the Gobodance unit that uses a common 12 volt, 100 watt EFP lamp as the light source.  The unit has a timed gobo wheel (changes approximately every 8 - 10 seconds) to make the different patterns.  The unit also features a sound active multi-colored mirrored dish to make the multiple colored beams.  The output is spinning multi-colored beams of light that change patterns (gobos) every few seconds.  Great unit made in Italy.
