Unknown Custom Double Beacon Effect Unit
A very cool unit that was custom built (unfortunately not from me). It looks like a Leestar (China) base from a older unit was used as the foundation of this unit and a couple of double par 35 beacons were attached to the rotating shaft. There are 3 powered circuits, but only 2 are utilized for the units operation. Whatever was attached originally used the additional circuit. Each beacon uses 2 X GE 4416 - 12 volt, 30 watt spot lamps that rotate in opposite directions as the units are mounted back to back. The unit rotates at around 30 RPM. Base unit made in China, beacons made in????
Beglec SL-9601 Unit
A very interesting unit from Beglec of Belgium. I believe the unit is originally manufactured from Superstar Lighting in China, but not 100% sure. Unit features 2 X 24 volt, 150 watt FCS lamps in the center of each tube. On each end of both tubes there is a convex lens making a focused tight beam of light. Both long tubes rotate opposite of each other making an awesome tumbling light effect. Unit made in China.

Lampo Lunar 8 Cosmos Ball
Another classic cosmos ball from Lampo! This is the Lunar 8 lamp unit which is the smallest unit that was produced from Lampo. The largest unit Lampo produced was 38 lamps. This unit features 8 X 6 volt, 30 watt GE 4515 common lamps that are wired to a 48 volt transformer. The unit also uses high quality base and side motors. The lamps, base motor and side motor are all on separate circuits so control is not an issue. Super high quality unit made in Italy.
DiscoTech Dixi Lighting Unit

Another classic from DiscoTech. The is is the Dixi unit which features a common 24 volt, 250 watt ELC lamp. The lamp projects through a 12 position gobo/dichoric glass wheel. The light then reflects on a rotating mirrored dish. From there it goes through a large convex lens then onto a scanning head. All 3 motors are sound active making a cool output. The unit changes colors/gobos, scans and rotates to the beat of the music via a small microphone on the rear. DiscoTech also made another similar unit named the FX2 which is the same unit, but adds DMX control with 3 channels. Built like a tank like other DiscoTech units! Unit made in Poland.

LED Lighting Dancer Effect Unit
A very rare unit from LED. This is the Dancer scanning unit. This unit has been modified from original operation. The original unit was 220 volt with a 24 volt, 250 lamp. When I received this unit the control circuits were removed since they fried. The previous owner tried modifying it with timers, relays and sensors but had no success. I stripped down all of the modifications and made it work to my standards. First I removed the bulky transformer for the lamp and decided to use a common EHJ 120 volt, 250 watt lamp. Then I added a 12 volt step down transformer for the rotation motors. Since there is no animation board in the unit it runs at a constant speed. The 3 motors (made by Micro Motors) make a very cool effect when running all together. The motors run a large color wheel, a mirror rotation motor and a scan motor. The light emits from the lamp, through a interchangeable gobo, through a focusable lens, through the rotating color wheel then onto the rotating and scanning mirror. Currently I am using this unit to project onto a mirror ball creating an awesome effect! Unit is fan cooled and made in Italy.
