ProgramSistem Mini-Futura

Classic unit from ProgramSistem!  This is the Mini-Futura unit which is basically an updated version of the classic mirror ball.  This is the full ball version.  ProgramSistem also made a smaller, more compact half ball version as well.  This unit uses a common 24 volt, 250 watt EHJ capsule bulb that sits in the center of the ball.  The metal ball rotates around the lamp to create the effect.  What is interesting about this unit is the cooling system that was created for it.  There is a vent on the top of the unit that is the air intake.  The fan pulls air in through that vent then pushes it into the bottom of the shaft that goes up to the ball.  The forced air then comes out of the pin holes in the ball making a efficient cooling system.  Very creative!  Great unit made in Italy!
