T.A.S. Duetto

Cool scanning fixture from T.A.S. This is the Duetto unit which is the smaller version of the Duo MSR 700 larger unit from Coemar.  This unit features 2 X 120 volt, 250 watt ENH bulbs mounted in the center of the unit back to back.  The light projects from the bulbs then through a dichro / gobo wheel.  The wheels consists of 10 different gobo / dichro combinations/  From there the light passes through a shutter assembly (used for strobing / blackout) then through a large focusable convex lens.  From there a sharp edge beam is projected onto a set of scanning mirrors that move the multi-colored beams in a scanner like manor.  Very cool effect!  The unit con be operated DMX, 0 - 10 volt analogue and sound to light via on-board microphone.  Unit operates on 6 channels.  Channel 1 is right scanner motor.  Channel 2 is left scanner motor.  Channel 3 is the right gobo / dichro wheel.  Channel 4 is the left gobo / dichro wheel.  Channel 5 is the channel for the shutters and chanel 6 if for the lamps.  Truly awesome unit made in Italy.

t.a.s. Mini-Multipoint Effect Unit

Classic mini unit from t.a.s.  This is the mini-multipoint which is the tiny version of its larger brother the standard multipoint.  The unit features a 24 volt, 150 watt FCS lamp in the front of the unit.  Located behind the lamp are 2 separate mirror assemblies.   The rear one is a standard clear / white dish and in located front of it is 3 arms of dichoric glass.  The rear assembly is free-floating and the motor is connected to the front assembly. The dishes rotate to the beat of the music and all controls are located on the rear of the unit.  The output is mostly white beams of light with same streaks of color spinning to the beat of the music.  Adjustments for speed sensitivity can be adjusted.  Unit is fan cooled and built super strong.  Fixture made in Italy.

t.a.s. Mini-Contact Units

Interesting set of units from t.a.s.  These are the Mini-Contact scanner / color changer units from t.a.s.  These units use the same housings as the Coemar Baby Color units but use a different color changing system and add a scanner mirror on the end of the light aperture.  Each unit operates independently with it's own control system.  The light source is a common 120 volt, 250 watt ENH lamp.  Inside of the base of each unit the step down transformer for the motors and lamp is housed.  Mounted to the external part of the base is a 3-way selector switch, microphone and adjustment potentiometer.  The selector switch has constant motors on, motors off and sound active motor rotation.  Located inside of the main head assembly is the bulb, dichoric color wheel, color wheel motor, cooling fan and control PCB.  There are 5 colors plus white produced from the unit.  The output is scanning beams of light with sound response or constantly moving.  Great units made in Italy.
