F.A.L. Colourplus PF 548

One of the coolest moonflower type lights ever produced! This is a F.A.L. Colourplus light fixture. Unit uses a high power 120 volt, 800 watt HX-185 Roundlux lamp that creates a distinct horseshoe shape projected from the unit. Inside the Colourplus there are 2 separate rotational motors that move opposite directions from each other. Attached to the front dish is a wheel with dichro lenses on it and the other has dichro mirrors attached to it. The effect is tons of different colors produced moving in different directions. Unit has 3 motors. 1 for each rotation motor and 1 for the cooling fan. The light also features 2 separate power cords the the motion motors and fan can run continuously and the bulb can be controlled separately. Unit is sound active which means that it moves to the beat of the music. The sound is picked up through a microphone on the rear of the unit and also will accept a 1/4" connection from an audio source. Unit made in Italy.

Kreluz 3 Head Sweeper Bar

Another rare piece of lighting history! This is a Kreluz 3 head sweeper bar. Unit has a internal high torque Crouzet motor that revolves at around 10 - 12 RPM moving the bar back and forth 120 degrees. The effect is 3 large super bright beams going across the room either left to right or up and down depending on how you mount it. The lamp source is 3 - 40 volt, 150 watt FVN bulbs. The bulbs are in a PAR 46 housing. I took one of the protectors off so you can see how it mounts in the reflector. Fixture also has built in gel holders so you can color the beams if desired. Unit has 2 seperate plugs for function. 1 powers the lamps and 1 powers the motor. Unit made in Spain.

Satel Mini Oxis

This is a rare unit produced by Satel. This is a Gem as I received it brand new in the box! Most people are familiar with the Satel Oxis 360 (Neutron Star), but have you ever seen a Mini Oxis?? Cool unit such as the full size, but does not have the strobes and uses MR 16 lamps instead of PAR 36 sealed beam lamps. Unit has 20 - 12 volt, 42 watt EZY lamps (10 on each side) that project out the focused beam of light. Bulbs can be gelled if colored beams of light are desired. There are 2 motor circuits on this light. 1 for the rotation of the complete unit and 1 for the opening / closing effect. The opening / closing effect is not symmetrical as 1 side can be higher than the other. This is the way the light was made and not a mechanical problem. Sapro Sound Flower

This is 1 of 2 huge original moonflowers I have acquired. This is a classic Sapro Sound Flower. Unit outputs a large moonflower cluster because of the over sized mirror dish. In addition the unit has a large rotating color wheel on the front the rotates at a constant slow speed. This unit has been modified from its original factory settings, but is great now! The internal transformer was swapped out so the unit would run on 110 instead of 220 volts. Also the original control system was removed and a simple animator board was installed so the large mirror dish rotates to the beat of the music. The bulb installed is a 36 volt, 400 watt EVD lamp. The unit uses 3 motors. 1 for the rotating color wheel, 1 for the rotating mirror dish and 1 for the cooling fan. I attached a picture of the light next to a soda can so you can reference the size of this beast! Unit made in France.
