Show Pro (NESS) Sundance Unit

A great unit from Show Pro (NESS)!  This is the Sundance special effect light unit.  The fixture features a powerful 120 volt, 600 watt DYS lamp located at the rear of the unit.  The light sits in a parabolic aluminum surround where it focuses the light to a forward direction.  The light is projected from the surround, through 2 large convex lenses then onto a special 8 wedge piece mirror assembly.  The mirrors are colored by gel being glued to the surface, but can be changed to any color or be removed for a bright white effect.  The mirror wedges both rotate and expand and contract to the beat of the music from 2 different motors.  The motors are super high quality Micro Motors from Italy!   The unit also has a slot in the rear where a standard gobo can be placed for additional beam effects.  Very cool unit made in the US.
