American DJ Beamer 600 Unit

Another classic from American DJ.  This is the Beamer 600 unit from the Beamer family of units.  American DJ made a few different ‘Beamer’ models before changing to the Avenger – Aggressor newer units.  These were comparable to the Lampo and f.a.l. early units where very large and heavy transformers made these units very bulky (Pre-64515 Lamps).  This unit features 2 X 24 volt, 250 watt EHJ lamps mounted on a sound active rotation arm.  The light projects out of 6 front colored lenses creating 12 large swirling beams of light that move to the sound of the music.  The unit has a very unique shaped chassis and is built solid like many of the early American DJ units.  Unit made in Taiwan / China??  Not sure, but there are some Asian characters inside the unit…
