Show Pro LSR-1 Laser Image Laser System

One of the early laser systems that was actually user friendly. This is a Show Pro LSR-1 Laser Image laser ystem including the controller, control cables & 2 heads. The output varies from a stars, circles, triangles and other shapes to the standard red dot. I think Red Line Lasers from St. Louis, Missouri made this unit for Show Pro. Unit uses Melles Griot laser tubes, not the diodes used in to days lasers. Output is a solid red beam of light rated at 4.95 mW, but actually is around 6.5 mW. Beam can be manipulated from the controller which sends signals to the heads for rotation and speed. The signal goes to 2 separate motors in each head which have mirrors on them. These are what produce the patterns of the light when it exits out of the unit. System also has a 1/4" connector on the rear of the controller for connection to an audio source. This will make the laser dance to the beat of the music. There is a small speaker inside each head with a mirror on it which will move when audio is applied and makes the effect. System made in the U.S.

American DJ Cyclotron II

Rare unit from American DJ. This is a Cyclotron II. Similar to the Cyclotron I, but a bit larger and updated design. Unit rotates and spins 360 degrees while using a 750 watt linear strobe lamp. The output is bright flashes and shafts of multi-colored light in multiple directions. Super cool light. Unit has an adjustment knob on it for the speed of the flash and also can be triggered from a 0 - 10 volt analogue signal via a 1/4" plug on the unit. Multiple units can be synchronized when connected together. Unit has 2 motors. 1 for the rotation of the head and 1 for the tumbling motion of the light drum. Unit made in Taiwan.

DJ USA Bronco

This is a DJ USA Bronco. Another brand distributed by NESS here in the US. Unit is similar to Programmi Sistemi Luce Dynamic. Unit has a constant rotating dichoric color wheel with a 600 watt DYS lamp behind it. The beam that comes out is a sharp tube of light which shakes violently and produces a laser like effect. The shaking is produced from a rotating counterweight on the rear of the mirror assembly. Unit has 3 motor contained in the fixture. 1 motor for the color wheel, 1 motor for the mirror movement and 1 for the cooling fan.
