Another Classic from VEI / Superstar Lighting! This is the Comet light effect unit. It features 2 X 120 volt, 300 watt 64515 lamps that move to the beat of the music via a small microphone mounted on the rear of the unit. The output is dual spinning large beams ouf light from each of the 6 large lenses on the front of the unit. Very bright output! Unit made in China.

American DJ Krypto 1K

Another classic centerpiece from American DJ. This is the second Krypto that I have picked up. This unit has been modified from its original condition. The MSR 575 arc lamp source has been changed out to a common FEL 1,000 watt halogen lamp. I am assuming that there was an issue with the original light source so it was altered. You can tell this by looking at the lamp base as well as the original wiring has been changed. Also the dichoric glass pieces were removed fro the color wheel letting the unit be only white. I plan on having new dichros made for the unit. The unit features 8 scanning mirrors with 8 constantly rotating mirror dishes. The unit also features 2 large cooling fans for temperature control. The unit has 2 separate sets of controls. Every other mirror is connected to a common control unit. This makes the mirrors respond differently than all moving at the same time. There is also a external remote for the blackout option. Very cool unit. Made in China.

Another RARE unit from the BLUERED Company. This is a Passepartout unit. It features a large combination moonflower with forward scanning mirror and umbrella mirror configuration on the front. The output is rotating beams of light that spin to the beat of the music and scan around the room at the same time. The 2 motors are on the same sound active circuit. This makes the beams spin and scan at the same. The unit is 240 volt operation and uses the very high quality Micro Motors (Brand) for rotation of the dichoric mirror dish and the mirror on the front of the unit. There is also a 1/4" connector on the rear for external control with a standard 0 - 10 volt analogue controller. The unit uses a common 36 volt, 400 watt lamp as the light source. Unit made in Italy.

Satel Kum / Gemini Unit

Finally finished being repaired!! The larger of the 2 Kum units made by Satel. This is the Kum (Full Size) light effect. Satel made a smaller unit named the Baby Kum which has a single head and a central 150 watt light source. This unit features 20 - 12 volt, 35 watt AR111 PAR 36 lamps (10 on each side). You can also use standard glass 12 volt, 30 watt sealed beam lamps, but I prefer the AR111 lamps because they are lighter and have a much longer life expectancy. The unit is comprised of the large light unit and a dedicated controller. The controller features a switch to turn on the lamps, the AC motor (Which spins the 2 heads in opposite directions) and the DC motor (Which controls the main rotation of the entire unit). The DC motor also has a speed adjustment know so you can control how fast the main unit rotates. Both motors are very high quality and made from Crouzet of France. The unit is pretty heavy and has been altered from the original condition. This unit was chrome and very rusted when I purchased it and the AC motor was broken. I sanded down the unit, got the AC motor fixed and repainted it. Looks great now!! Check out the pictures of the original condition and compare it to its current condition. Unit made in Spain.

Unknown Manufacturer 4 Beam "Flat" Unit

This is a unique lighting effect unit made by??? I'm thinking it might be a classic MBT or LyteQuest unit, but not sure. The only markings show MK-A3373. I have looked around and found nothing. Unit features a standard 120 volt, 500 watt linear lamp that rotates to the beat of the music. The light projects from the unit through 4 different colored rectangle lenses located in the front. Very cool unit made in Taiwan.

Classic large scanning unit from Nisel. This is the Rotax 4 (4 head) scanning light system. The unit features 4 large PAR 56 lamp heads that rotate back-and-forh at a slow pace causing a search light effect. Each lamp head is fully adjustable and has a neon indicator on the rear so you can see which lamp is faulty when one of them go out. The heads use a 24 volt, 70 watt H-3 lamp (standard automotive), but can be changed for 35, 55 or even 100 watt versions. The heads are custom from Nisel and even have the name in the glass fronts. The lamps lock in through a special clip on the rear of the lamp housing. 220 volt single circuit operation. Nisel also made these in 2, 6 and 10 lamp versions. Unit made in Italy.

METEOR ProBeam Effects Projector

Very unique effects unit from METEOR. This is the ProBeam unit. It is based on a simple standard light projector where you can add different attachments to produce a very psychedelic light show. Currently I have the front prism which makes 4 beams instead of the single beam output. I also have 2 different 3" cassette rotators. The cassettes produce a Kaleidoscope type effect. 1 is sound active via an RCA type input cable from an audio source and the other is a constant rotation. You can connect up to 3 different motorized effects to this projector and run them at the same time through the 12 volt plugs on the sides of the unit. Other attachments include rotating prisms, color changers, 6" effect wheel rotators, different angled lenses and many others. The light source is produced from an 82 volt, 300 watt EXR lamp at the rear of the unit. Fan cooled for continuous operation. Unit made here in the US.

Clay Paky Astroraggi Power

An updated version of a true classic! This is the Clay Paky Astroraggi "Power" unit. The fixture is not truly vintage since it is available from Clay Paky, but rather a refined, better unit than the original. The differences between the older and current unit is a higher power lamp (400 watt MSR Arc vs. 250 watt MSD Arc), full DMX control through 2 channels (the original just had 2 power circuits for control) and the new unit is dimmable and can strobe. The unit is also has variable speed and direction of the rotating dome depending on rate of the DMX channel. The dimming of the unit is through a very interesting aluminum box that closes around the lamp while it is lit. The box will open and close very fast as well causing a strobing effect. You can control the Astroraggi with DMX or PMX (Pulsar Multi-plex). The unit also features dual cooling fans. Made in Italy.

Classic 90's lighting effect unit. This is the VEI V-9522 Double Go-Bot lighting unit. Imported by VEI here in the US, but the unit is actually made by Superstar lighting. Unit features dual 24 volt, 250 watt ELC lamps that are fan cooled at the rear of the unit. The lamps project through a constantly rotating gobo wheel then through a set of convex lenses. Once through the lenses the light reflects off of a set of sound active rotating dichoric dishes producing a very cool light show. Made in Taiwan.

Clay Paky Pin Scan Units

Very cool units from Clay Paky. This is a set of the Pin Scan units. These units feature a halogen 12 volt, 75 watt AR111 bulb that pans and tilts to move the beam around the room. You can switch out the lamp for 50, 90 or 100 watt variances as well as change the beam angle with different bulbs. The unit also features a built in dimmer for the bulb so brightness can be controlled. The control of the unit is ether DMX512 or RS232/423 (Pulsar Multiplex PMX) using 3 channels. Channel 1 is for the lamp dimming/strobing, channel 2 is for pan and 3 is for tilt. Units are fan cooled and use super high quality stepper motors for operation. Units made in Italy.

Lightwave Research Dataflash Classic System

One of the best systems ever created. This is the Dataflash (Original) strobe system from Lightwave Research (Now Barco High End Systems). The classic system consists of the main controller and up to 128 strobe units. The connection from the controller to the strobes is through a common 3-Pin XLR cable (1/4" on the earlier units). The strobes feature a 1000 watt strobe bulb and a large plastic dome for protection (there were optional colored domes available when these were sold). There are 2 connectors on the rear for control signal in and out. The controller has many internal programs and audio input for sound active flashing. There was a newer system created from Lightwave named the AF1000 which added DMX and a sleeker design. Also there were newer controllers such as the Mini and LCD for the AF1000 units. The AF1000 also had an optional HO (High Output) bulb for brighter flashes. One feature between the classic and AF1000 is that the classic will not overheat and "time-out" and have to wait in order to continue flashing.

Another classic from American DJ. This is the FAN 800 unit. The unit features a linear 120 volt, 500 watt FDF lamp that rotates to the beat of the music. The output is 8 "Flat" beams of white light tumbling in the air. American DJ also made the FAN 800-C which featured colored lenses on the front of the unit instead of clear. Unit made in China.

Awesome unit from Spektronic!! This is the BrokenSwing high energy lighting unit. The unit features a rotating mirror dish inside the unit and a rotating dichoric prism on the front of the unit. The unit uses high quality stepper motors instead of standard motors. This gives you smoother rotation and adjustable speeds of rotation. On the rear of the unit there are 2 adjustment knobs. One is for the sound sensitivity adjustment and the second is for the program selection. There are different settings for how the unit responds. You can have the internal mirror motor react differently than the prism motor. Also you can turn off one of the motors or have one of the motors move slower than the other motor. The biggest draw for this unit is the front design of the projection head. The light emits from the front convex lens after it has projected off of the mirror dish. It then reflects off of the rotating dichoric prism and onto the angled mirrors. The output is a high energy whirlwind of color and motion. Lamp is the common 24 volt, 250 watt EVC halogen. Unit is 220 volt. Fixture made in Germany.

Elation EL-1502 Duo-Track Unit

Very unique lighting unit from Elation. This is the EL-1502 Duo-Track dual scanner unit. The fixture has 2 X 82 volt, 250 watt EXY lamps that are mounted back to back projecting 2 beams of light that go through a convex lens, through a rotating gobo/dichoric wheel then onto a scanning mirror. The effect wheel has 12 different gobos/dichros that can be set to change a a constant rate, manual selection from the optional remote (EL-1500/C which I do not have), or switch on the rear or the unit. Each side has a x-scanner that scans the beam left and right to the beat of the music creating a dazzling dual scanning light show. The modular design of the unit is great as you can pull the entire projection unit out from the chassis. This makes repair much easier than many other light units. Currently the scanning mirrors are in bad condition and will need to be replaced. Very cool unit made in China.

On the front of the unit there are 6 different colored lenses where the beams of light emit from. The output is spinning beams of light rotating to the beat of the music. A very cool function of this unit is that there is a selector switch on the rear of the unit which allows single or dual bulb operation. Great unit made in Taiwan.

Unknown Manufacturer Dual UFO Unit

I have never come across this unit anywhere! It is AWESOME!! Similar to a Clay Paky Astrodisco, but adds an additional UFO head. This unit features 2 separate rotating saucers that move in opposite directions at a very fast speed (around 40 RPM), a 6 RPM tumble motor and a 6 RPM base motor. The unit has been built with separate circuits for the lamps, tumble motor, base motor and spin motors (the 2 spin motors are on the same circuit). The original lamps have been upgraded to 120 volt, 300 watt 64514 halogen bulbs. I am not sure what the original bulbs were, but the transformer is still in the base where the lamp circuit used to be connected to. From the age of the unit and size of the transformer I would assume that the original bulbs were 24 volt 250 or 150 watt halogen. Not sure where the unit is made, but I think it is either China or Japan since that is where the motors for the unit were made.

Another original that has been copied from many companies over the years. This is the Lampo Apollo unit. Almost identical to the Lampo Derby unit, but adds a second row of lenses creating twice as many beams. This unit outputs 40 beams of light that move to the beat of the music via the microphone attached on the rear of the unit. This unit features dual circuits so the rotation motor can be operated separately from the lamps and cooling fan. Unit is quite heavy as it has 2 large transformers inside (for the lamps and control circuit). The lamps used are 2 X 36 volt, 400 watt EVD halogen. Electronics made by FLY of Italy. Great unit made in Italy.

Another great unit from PSL!! This is the Gobostar unit featuring a 24 volt, 250 watt ELC lamp. The light projects through a large dichro/gobo wheel with 20 different selections available. The unit has a sound active rotating mirror that responds to the beat of the music that creates the large tunnel of light that emits from the front. The cool feature that this unit has is that it comes with a dedicated remote that can be mounted to the rear or used a distance away from the unit. With the remote you can manually select the gobo, set the speed of how often the gobo changes or keep the same gobo in place (never changing). Remote can be disconnected as it uses a standard 1/4" connector. Great high quality fixture made in Italy!

Unit is similar to the common "mushroom: style lighting effects that were produced in the 90's but features a unique design with the selection and placement of the lenses on the head. The head contains 8 standard rectangle convex lenses on the inside and 8 round extruded lenses on the perimeter. This makes a unique output from using 2 different styles of lenses. This unit was intended to be a centerpiece unit in clubs but can be mounted horizontal as well due to the mounting bracket used. Unit has 2 X 120 volt, 300 watt 64515 standard halogen lamps that rotate to the beat of the music making the effect output. Truly a special unit!! NESS also made another unit that looks exactly like this one but uses a 500 watt linear lamp making "flat" beams from the same fixture. Unit made in Taiwan.

Very cool gobo rotator/projector from LyteQuest. This is the Gobo 4 unit that is very similar to the Prism 4 unit, but with different gobo/dichro combinations and a standard front convex lens without the splitting prism. The unit uses a common 120 volt, 250 watt ENH lamp that projects through an internal convex lens then though a dichro/gobo assembly that is constantly rotating. From the gobo/dichro rotator light emits out of an adjustable front lens. The unit has 4 different gobo/dichro combinations that change about every 10 seconds. This projector looks great when shined onto a mirror ball. Unit made in China.

Martin SuperMoon 2 Giant Moonflower

Super sized moonflower unit from Martin. This is a SuperMoon 2 unit with controller. This is the same as the regular SuperMoon, but adds a dedicated controller and variable speed motors. The unit has a 24 volt, 250 watt ELC bulb with a HUGE mirror drum behind it for projection. The mirror assembly is attached to to the chassis with 3 large springs. This allows the unit to shake from an additional motor mounted to the top of the mirror plate. The motor has a piece of heavy metal that is off centered to create the shaking effect. Lastly there is a large color wheel with gels attached on the front of the unit allowing 5 different colors and split colors as well. All of the motors speeds are adjustable from the controller. You can tell this unit is pretty old from the flat ribbon style connection cable between the controller and the light unit. Direct audio can be connected to the controller for sound to motion operation on a selected motor or all motors via switches on the front panel. Currently super expensive Maxon rotation motor is having a gearing issue and parts are on order for repair. Fully operational soon!! Unit made in Denmark.

Sapro MI Light Beams LSS 100 Unit

Original compact moonflower light from Sapro. Looking at older catalogues it was also named the Laser Light System 100. Unit uses a 12 volt, 100 watt Osram 64623 EVA lamp mounted in front of a dish of tiny mirrors. It looks like the mirrors were colored at one time but the color has been burnt off of the glass over time. The unit his sound activated from the microphone on the rear of the unit. Direct audio connection through a 1/4" connector is also available on the rear of the unit for sound triggering. The output is very tight and crisp beams of light. I changed out the original front plastic convex lens with a new glass one. The original actually was melted on one side from too much heat. Unit made in France.

These units are AWESOME!! I picked up a rare set of ACR MacArgus units. These are big and bright!! Each unit has an line of 9 X 28 volt 250 watt GE 4596 bulbs that are wired in series. The lamps housing is made into an arc configuration making bright shafts of light. Total of 2,250 watts of lamp power per fixture!! Each unit has the ability to pan and tilt making an intelligent looking light effect. The units can be controlled by the Quatro or the MacSpot controller. The Quatro is a hands-on live controller as the MacSpot controller is better suited for programed movements. The units use high torque gear motors with special sensors (Pots) for control. There are no stepper motors on these units. They use analogue feedback signal so the controllers and units know the position of all units at all times. Units made in Switzerland.

Very cool unit from BLUERED. This unknown model features 2 X 120 volt, 250 watt ENH bulbs that project through an internal dichoric color wheel. The light then goes through a set of convex lenses then projects onto the scanning mirrors. Each of the 2 scanning mirrors are mounted on a spring creating a vibrating effect as they rotate. One of the mirrors is cracked and will need to be replaced. I snapped it while trying to adjust it. The color wheel and the scanning mirrors rotate to the beat of the music via an internal microphone. Very unique output! If anybody know the name of this unit please contact me. The name has been smudged off of the back panel. It looks like possibly 'Siner' which is the word 'syn' in Italian?? Unit made in Italy.

Each bulb unit has a removable plastic housing where a 24 volt, 150 watt FCS lamp is located. Lamps come white (Clear), but can be gelled for color option. The dice head rotates at 60 RPM while the as rotates at 20 RPM. Fixture has 3 separate circuits so each motor and the lamp circuit can be controlled independently. Unit made in Spain.

This unit features a central 24 volt, 150 watt FCS bulb that puts out an impressive bright beam due to super high quality optics. Light emits through 10 sets of lenses surrounding the light source. The saucer where the lamp is housed has a AC rotation motor that spins at a constant rate. The arm assembly has an adjustable speed 0 - 50 RPM DC motor that will move the unit at an incredible speed! The fixture comes with its own dedicated controller. The controller has separate switches for each motor, lamp and an adjustable speed knob for the DC motor with neon indicators to show what channel is currently activated. This unit was available without the controller for a cheaper model without the controller. This unit is the deluxe model. Unit made in Spain.

Awesome unit from Clay Paky. This is the Rango Vertical unit. There were a few different units from the helicopter series and this was a highly sought after unit. There was also another unit that added a base motor to this head names the Rango 2 (2 Motors) that Clay Paky offered. This unit has a total of 8 - 6 volt, 30 watt 4515 bulbs mounted 2 back-to-back. Internally they are wired 4 to each of the 2 transformers (24 volt each). The heads rotate at a constant 40 RPM when the motor is activated. The fixture was wired for 1 circuit operation when I received it but I split the motor and lamp circuit apart for better control. Unit made in Italy.

Very nice unit from LyteQuest. This model is the Radiator. The fixture has a standard 120 volt, 300 watt 64515 bulb placed in front of a special dichoric dish assembly. The dichoric dish is stationary and has a special solid metal dish with slits cut into it that rotates in front of the mirrored dish. Small compact scanning system from f.a.l. This system uses 2 X 120 Volt, 250 watt ENH bulbs that produce the light for the unit. The beams go through a set of adjustable dichro/gobos then through a set of convex lenses finally out onto the dual rotating mirrors. The mirrors move at a constant slow rate to make the effect. Each mirror is adjustable to make the effect scan slow or fast across the room. Unit made in Italy.

Nisel Stratus-S UFO Unit

Yet another classic unit from Nisel. This is a Stratus-S UFO fixture. The unit is very compact and much smaller than typical units. The base contains a 30 RPM rotator and step-down transformer for the bulb. The single arm has a 5 RPM tumble motor with a 30 RPM motor to rotate the glass pyramid. All motors are high quality Crouzet brand. The bulb is a tiny 12 volt, 75 watt MR16 type bulb. This unit has only 1 circuit for operation, but by looking at the internal wiring I think they can be separated for independent control. Maybe a project for the future?? This unit has just been restored as it was in very bad condition when received. New paint, belt and wiring were needed to get the beauty back to life! Unit made in Italy.

Nisel Interceptor

Super Rare UFO unit made by Nisel. This unit uses 10 individual 12 volt, 20 watt Osram 49100 SP bulbs. The original bulbs were Osram 41905 SP, but they are discontinued. These are the cross reference bulbs. Neon indicators are featured on the head so trouble shooting a faulty bulb is easy. All of the bulbs are wired in series creating 120 volts and a large step down transformer is in the base so they will run on 220/230 volts. Unfortunately all of the motors are 220/230 volts and all of the circuits share a common neutral for power so the transformer has to stay. This unit is 220/230 volt operation so a step up transformer or direct input is required for operation here in the US. Fixture has 4 separate circuits so each motor and lamps can be controlled independently. The base and lamp head rotation motors are 30 RPM and the tumble motor is 5 RPM. All motors are made by Crouzet of France. Entire unit made in Italy.

Very cool light from Show Pro. Show Pro is another brand under NESS. This very cool unit is similar to the American DJ Phaser, but has colored mirrors instead of the common clear (white). The unit has 2 X 120 volt, 300 watt 64514 halogen lamps that sit in front of two rotating mirrored dishes that only have mirrors on about 3/4 of the dish. The mirrored dishes rotate opposite of each other to the beat of the music via an internal microphone or optional 1/4" audio plug on the rear of the unit. Unique light output!! Unit made in Taiwan.

One of the original rotating mirror drum units!! Before all of the common mirrored drum units you see today there was these primitive units produced. This is circa 1993 classic!! The unit has a common 12 volt, 100 watt EFP projection bulb at the rear that projects through a dichoric 12 position color wheel and a single convex lens then onto the drum. The color wheel can be turned on and off by the switch on the rear of the unit. The mirrored drum and the color wheel are sound active on this unit. Great output and very rare unit!! Another treasure that was still new in the box!! Unit was produced here in the US!!

Optec Sound Flower Unit

Another classic moonflower effect from optec. Optec is another brand that was under NESS here in the US. This classic moonflower unit has a very large multi-color dish that rotates to the beat of the music via an internal microphone. A direct input via 1/4" connector on the rear of the unit can also be used for a more accurate sound trigger. The lamp source is a common 120 volt, 300 watt 64514 bulb. Very sharp optics from the front of the unit cause a very crisp output. Unit made here in the US. There is a discoloration which looks like someone spilled something on it, but it wont come off after cleaning the unit. Will probably get a new paint job soon!!

American DJ GoboTec

One of the classic effects from American DJ. This is the GoboTec unit that is very similar to the LyteQuest Prism as it has the same internal rotating gobos, just a different head. I was lucky to find this unit since it was still brand new in the box!! The unit has 3 gobos that change every 8 - 10 seconds and rotate constantly. The light projects from the rear of the unit, goes through a convex lens, through the gobo wheels, through another adjustable focus convex lens then onto a rotating multi-color wheel at the top of the unit. The multi-color wheel spins to the beat of the music. The effect is really stunning!! Bulb source is a 82 volt, 250 watt EXY lamp. Unit uses 4 motors for operation. 1 for the gobo rotation, 1 for the gobo changer, 1 for the rotation head and 1 for the cooling fan. Unit made in Taiwan.

Look at this beauty! This is a classic American DJ CM-3010-M cosmos ball. Unit is in great condition and has the optional mirrored surface on the exterior. Unit moves VERY fast. The tumble motor clocks in at 60 RPM and the rotation motor is 15 RPM. The exterior has 10 PAR 36, 12 Volt, 30 Watt 4405 bulbs with neon indicators to determine which bulb is out when it occurs. Unit has 3 separate circuits so the motors and lamps can be controlled separately.

Coemar Duo 700 MSR

Check out this rare beauty! This is a Coemar Duo 700 MSR dual head scanner light. This unit is SUPER bright as it contains a 700 watt MSR arc lamp in the center that produces perfect light. The unit also uses a separate ballast unit for the lamp. The 2 units are connected by a long umbilical wire cord so it reduces weight and size on the head as well as makes the unit more compact for smaller spaces. Currently the fixture has only 1 power cord attached, but a second can be added for separate control of the fan. Inside the head the lamp sits in the center with a dual set of large convex lenses that focus the beams of light. The beams then go through a dichro/gobo wheel then out another adjustable (focus) lens and onto the rotating mirrors. It is a very cool light show when operating. This unit is fully automatic and is triggers from a microphone found on the base. The effect is a intelligent scanner type effect, but without the need for an external controller. The bulb was damaged during transit so videos will be up as soon as I get the replacement in. Unit made in Italy.

One of the classics! This is a Martin Ministar 250 light effect. Unit projects rotating white beams of light that moves to the music. Unit uses a 24 volt, 250 watt EVC bulb and features 2 motors. 1 for the rotation of the mirror dish and 1 for the cooling fan. Unit weighs a bit because of the large transformer used to step down the voltage for the bulb. Unit made in Denmark.

Cool classic lights from American DJ. These are Orbit's from American DJ. Version 1 has the smaller round lenses on the top and the version 2 has the 4 dichoric reflectors. Each unit has a constant rotating gobo wheel that spins at a slow pace making the projections change textures while the top "head" rotates to the beat of the music via an internal microphone. The light source is a 82 volt, 250 watt EXY lamp producing plenty of light. Units made in Taiwan.

Lumen Industries CP-32 Mushroom Units

I picked up these RARE units as I have never seen anything from this company. These were built by Lumen Industries here in the US. I have never heard of this company and I have never seen anything else produced from them. If anyone know any additional info, please contact me. These units are similar to many of the other "mushroom" style units that were popular in the 90's but have larger lenses and have a unique design how they are positioned on the dome. The unit has 2 X 24 volt, 250 watt lamp that rotate to the beat of the music. This unit puts out a ton of light!! Unit made here in the US.

For post number 250 we made it BIG!! Big is what this unit is!! This is a Clay Paky Astrospider unit. This thing is HUGE!! Unit has 4 X 24 Volt, 150 Watt Lamps. Each lamp is located in one of the 4 large domes with 13 lenses on the exterior (Total 52). The 4 domes are connected in the center of the unit with a single motor that revolves all 4 at the same speed at the same time. The 4 heads connect through a set of plastic gears. At the base of the unit is another high torque motor to spin the entire unit. When it is all running, insanity is what you get. Both of the motors and the lamps are on separate circuits for complete control of the unit. Unit made in Italy. Thanks to my buddy Chris for this unit!

These are the classics here!! Circa 1978 - 1979!! These units are really from the disco era!! There is a single power cord that operates the lamps and rotation motor. These units actually take a bit to get up to speed. It's amusing to see them start slow and get up to speed after a few seconds. The unit is actually a piece of plywood with 3 individual pin spots bolted to it. Each lamp has its own transformer and power switch. The base unit only has a single power circuit so there is actually a power tap used to connect all of the pin spot power cords together. Very primitive!! Units made here in the US. I have a 6 head version coming soon that actually has an adjustable speed control!! There units are for sale!!

Cool little units from LyteQuest. These are Prism 4 units. Each unit has a group of 4 rotating gobos with dichoric filters built in. All gobos/dichros constantly rotate from a central motor. A secondary motor that has a small shaft attached that moves the main wheel 90 degrees about every 10 seconds to make a different gobo/dichoric wheel sit in front of the light source. There is a switch on the rear of the unit that allows the gobo selection to be turned on and off. This allows the same gobo to be used at all times. The light source is a common 120 volt, 250 watt ENH lamp. The light sits at the rear of the unit and goes through a convex lens assembly then through what ever gobo/dichro is in front of the source. The light then emits out of a special front lens that split the beam into 3 separate beams. One of the cool things it that the way the unit opens. The frame with a 2 door design it is easy to change out the bulbs and gobos. Truly a unique light unit! Fixtures made in China.

Great touch panel from Pulsar. These were also sold in the US from High End Systems (Lightwave Research) as the Touch Dimmer 12. The controller can be connected to Pulsar and other manufacturers dimmer and relay packs for control. The unit can also connect to many other controllers and used as a remote trigger (Example: connect to a High End / Lightwave Research Intallabeam controller to trigger cues and effects from the remote). This unit also lets you program chases and other types of cues for your light show. Unit made in England.

Classic chaser from Diversitronics. This unit is circa 1987 and still running strong!! Unit has 4 output channels. Units have to be directly wired into the unit. This was mostly used for the classic chaser strips and banks of pin spots. 16 different chase patterns selectable from the front plate as well as speed, audio and other features available from the controller. A total of 900 watts can be connected to each channel. Truly a classic!!

Very cool unit by DJ USA. Unit was distributed by NESS here in the US. Unit has a large gobo wheel with 16 different positions/patterns on it. The gobos can be selected by the 3 position switch on the rear of the unit. Position 1 (left) is auto where it automatically changes every 5 - 10 seconds, but only when the dichoric mirror dish inside is rotating. Position 2 (middle) is what ever gobo is chosen stays on that pattern. Position 3 (right) is used to manually select gobos. There is also a 1/4" connection for a remote. With the remote you can choose the gobo away from the unit. The microphone on the rear of the unit is used to control the internal rotating mirror dish which moves to the beat of the music. The light source is 1 - 120 volt, 250 watt ENH bulb. This light is very similar to the Martin unit. Unit made in China.

Truly an awesome light fixture!!! This is a Kremesa CR-20/F3 unit also know as the Kremesa Neptunos. Just like many other classic UFO units, this light uses 20 Par 36, 6 volt 30 watt lamps instead of a central lamp to create the same effect. The unit has 3 seperate rotation motors and all are controlled separatly. The unit that rotates the lamps is 40 RPM, the side motor is 6 RPM and the base motor is 20 RPM. Great unit made in Spain.
