Kremesa CR-20T Helicopter Unit

Giant helicopter from Kremesa!  This is the CR-20T 20 lamp helicopter unit. The light assembly has 10 arms that contain 2 X par 36 housings.  Each lamp is a 6 volt, 30 watt GE 4515 wired in series.  Unfortunately this is an earlier unit that does not have the fault indicators so when 1 lamp goes out they all go out.  This is a big pain as you must have to test each lamp individually.  If / when the unit blows a lamp it is advisable to check the lamp closest to the neutral and work backwards.  The fixture features separate circuits for the motor and lamps.  Great unit made in Spain.

Nisel Stratus L Unit

Awesome UFO from Nisel!  This is the Stratus L unit. There are 3 different Stratus units Nisel made – there is the ‘S’, ‘M’ and ‘L’ sizes which represent small, medium and large.  This is the large.  The unit features a 28 volt, 250 watt ACL lamp which points at a plastic ‘chrome’ cone which reflects the light out of the UFO head.  Between the bulb and the cone is a color wheel assembly with large metal strips between the gel inserts.  As the color wheel spins it makes the blades of light.  The way the saucer is designed is having metal strips around the perimeter to be used as a douser so light does not bleed out of the unit.  Very similar to the Sapro Thriller unit.  Super high quality Crouzet motors are used to rotate the unit on all 3 axis’s.  Separate circuits for each motor and lamp (4 total).  Unit made in Italy.

Disco Tech Jr. Atlantis

Another great unit from Disco Tech!  This is the Jr. Atlantis centerpiece lighting unit.  Small & compact unit but puts out a ton of great light!  These is also a full size Atlantis with a discharge light source and a much larger platform.  The unit has a central 36 volt, 400 watt EVD lamp with 6 convex lenses located around the light source.  Each lens is gelled for colored output and they can be changed to any color desired.  Each of the 6 outputs also has an independent scan mirror and constant rotating 60 RPM effect mirrored dish.  There are 3 types of effect mirrors: Split (1/2 round), scatter (Small mirrored cluster) and wedges (8 small perforated triangles).  Each scan mirror is controller from a super high quality Micro Motor from Italy.  The output is sound active scanning and Arial effects.  Looks awesome in fog!  This unit has been an ongoing project fro some time as it was badly damaged during shipping.  It works great now due to a bunch of new mirrors / lenses and PCB repair.  Unit built in Poland.
